Sustainable Living
It has been a dream of mine for some time to live completely sustainable. There are already communities that are based around this idea, often in the form of earthships which are made from recycled materials and are completely off the grid. There is something about this lifestyle that has a strong pull on me. Ideally I would like to take it to the extreme, where I farm my own produce and hunt any meat I need. Any electrical needs are met by solar power and the water is collected via rain water or a natural stream. Just imagine never having to go to work again, not being a part of the daily grind, not living as a slave to money. Most of it in one way or another boils down to money. Money is the greatest distraction of the known world. I would be happy going back to the days of trade and barter.
