Also known as Pilot Creek Falls which is basically in Quintette is an awesome place to visit. Me and my buddy Casey Serin went and checked it out today.
We actually left last night not till around nine thirty. We made it there OK and were looking for a campground just to park for the night. When we couldn't find one we decided to just find a spot off the side of a back road. Well unfortunately we wanted light so we could play a game of chess but turns out Casey had a bad connection on one of his battery cables. The battery died and we decided to just hit the sack and worry about it in the morning.
After a long night sleeping in the passenger seat of his van it was time to get to work. I started messing with the cable and was able to rig it in a way that gave a good connection. It gave the engine more juice but still not enough. So we ate some breakfast and were getting ready to walk to the nearest place we could find some help and right as were about to leave a mountain man in a jeep pulls up to assist us. He was able to jump the van and get us on our way.
We drove around for a bit to ensure the battery was charged and then began our hike to the falls. We would only later find out that the route I knew was about an hour longer than it needed to be, but after a couple hours of hiking we were there. We hit the natural water slides a few times and had some lunch and just relaxed for a while.
Eventually it was time to head back and with the newly discovered short cut it wasn't such a bad hike. All in all it was a great trip. Could have been a little warmer day but It still was not bad. Definitely will be another trip on my part. Casey should have some video up in a few days or so, then you could check it out for yourself.

Great times!
Good times indeed!
James, just got an email from the dude that took a picture of me jumping. He also explained the two different names the falls are known as:
"Hello Casey,
Name of the falls known by locals and those that often visit is "University Falls." Falls are in or near "Blodgett Experimental Forest" land owned by U.C. Berkeley. The official name of the falls is Pilot Creek Falls.
Your photo is attached.
